Fertility Counseling

You are not alone in your fertility journey.

Are you navigating pregnancy announcements and baby showers while trying (and failing) to get pregnant? Have you been trying to conceive for 6-12+ months without success? Perhaps you are already working with a reproductive doctor and are finding the process overwhelming. Approximately 1 in 8 couples experience fertility challenges that require medical intervention. Additionally, LGBTQ+ couples and single parents may utilize fertility treatment in order to build their families despite not carrying a diagnosis of infertility.

Fertility treatments can take a heavy toll emotionally, physically, and financially. They can also strain interpersonal relationships. Many patients describe feeling “stuck” or “left behind” by their friends and family who seemingly get pregnant without trying. Hope, despair, isolation, and jealousy are all common emotions during the process. There may also often be complex feelings about one’s body that emerge.

Drawing on specialized training in the field of reproductive counseling, I support individuals and couples to manage the complex psychological impact of infertility on their lives.

I guide and support patients through the process every step of the way; from understanding what to expect at your first appointment, to managing the dreaded “two week wait.” I am here to hold space for grief, joy, and all things between.
